TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Description of Services

LinguaElite Ltd ("The Company") provides online English tutoring services to students worldwide. Classes are conducted by qualified native English-speaking teachers. The Company offers tutoring services in English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

 

Pricing and Payment

Students are required to pay for the chosen pack of classes in advance . Accepted payment methods include card payment, Alipay, or WeChat Pay. Late fees or penalties may apply for non-payment.

Trial Classes & Free Offers
Any trial class offered by LinguaElite is limited to one per student and is non-transferable. Free or promotional offers may be withdrawn at any time and cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to future services.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Students are responsible for scheduling their classes at least 48 hours in advanced via the following mediums:

  • Email;

  • WeChat Messenger Service; or

  • WhatsApp Messenger Service.

 

Kindly take further note of the following procedure to be followed in relation to cancellations:

  • Should a student need to cancel or reschedule a class, they must provide the Company with at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of the class fee.

  • Should a student cancel the class with less than 24 hours’ notice, the class will not be rescheduled.

  • Should the teacher cancel the class with less than 24 hours’ notice, the class will be rescheduled at a time that is convenient for both the student and teacher. Refunds for cancelled classes will be processed according to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

 

​Homework & Class Preparation
Any homework or specific work required to be covered in class must be sent to the teacher at least 36 hours before the scheduled class. If the information is provided after this timeframe, the teacher may not be able to assist with the requested content.

 

Teacher Substitution
LinguaElite reserves the right to assign substitute teachers where necessary to ensure continuity of lessons. While we make every effort to provide consistency, specific teacher assignments cannot be guaranteed.​

Conduct and Behaviour

Both Students and Teachers are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanour during classes. This includes the following:

  • punctuality,

  • appropriate language,

  • and appropriate dress.

Failure to comply may result in termination of services.

 

Parental Responsibility
For students under 18, parents or legal guardians remain responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate learning environment. Parents may be present during lessons but must avoid interrupting the class. LinguaElite reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of repeated disruption.

Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, lesson content, and resources provided by LinguaElite are for personal educational use only. They may not be copied, shared, recorded, or distributed in any form without prior written permission from LinguaElite.

 

Technology & Internet Responsibility

Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, functional device (computer, tablet, or phone), and working audio and video equipment. LinguaElite is not responsible for missed classes, interruptions, or reduced lesson quality due to technical issues on the student’s side.

 

Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred as a result of using its services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

 

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between the Company and a client, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, as deemed appropriate.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes through written electronic communication.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
